Child/Adolescent Therapy, Parent Coaching

I grew up in a small town in West Texas. I served in the US Navy, then went back to school and earned both my Bachelor and Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work. I have lived in Selah, WA for the past 11 years and worked at Children's Village providing behavioral services and parent coaching to children with special needs from 2015-2025. I am a mother to 7 in a blended family, with my youngest being 7 and my oldest 21.
My family is very important to me so when we have free time, we enjoy a variety of activities together. From traveling and experiencing new places both inside and outside the U.S., to having local adventures such as: fishing, hiking, and hunting. I also enjoy reading and watching my children participate in sports and 4H activities.
I am a Christian and my faith is very important to me.
I believe in the importance of establishing a foundation that will lead to lasting changes.

My mission is to support children and adolescents, including those on the autism spectrum, in developing their strengths, emotional well-being, and resilience. I partner with families through guidance and coaching, integrating evidence-based strategies with compassion and a foundation of faith, to foster hope, growth, and lasting positive change.

I provide virtual sessions to children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral difficulties. I also provide social and emotional support to children and teens with Autism and other special needs, as well as parent coaching/support. As needed/requested, I may provide sessions in the home in order to demonstrate specific interventions (particularly for those with autism and other special needs).

I specialize in therapy for children and adolescents, using CBT, positive behavior strategies, and social-emotional development. My approach is strengths-based and family-centered, with active parent involvement and coaching to support lasting growth. Grounded in compassion and faith, I aim to help children and families build resilience, confidence, and hope for the future.
